At Washington First Methodist Church, we are proud to offer a nurturing and engaging PreK program designed for three- and four-year-olds. Our program provides a strong foundation for early learning in a Christ-centered environment where children can grow socially, emotionally, and academically.
We serve up to 18 children each year, with classes held Monday through Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., following the Wilkes County school calendar from August through May.
Monthly tuition helps support our dedicated teaching staff, classroom resources, utilities, transportation, and enriching activities that make learning fun and meaningful.

WFMC Prek Registration
Registration is now open for the 2025-2026 school year. Forms can be picked up Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. You may also call, and forms can be emailed to you. A registration fee of $75 is required at the time of registration.
Child must be 3 by September 1 and potty trained.
