The Church Board of Washington First Methodist is a group of individual members chosen by the Nominations Committee and approved by the church membership. The Lay Leader, Trustee Chair, and Pastor serve in an ex officio capacity to advise.
Members of this Board oversee the church’s facilities, finances, and staff and meet regularly throughout the years. Board meetings are open to the church’s membership.
Board members usually serve a three-year term and are divided into “classes” that rotate every three years.
Our Church Board meets the third Tuesday of the month at 5:30 p.m.
